PAUL PUNZO :: LINOLEUM BLOCK PRINTS :: Final Fridays at Essential Goods

We are really excited to have Paul Punzo as our Final Friday artist this month at Essential Goods in Downtown Lawrence! Please join us for the opening reception next Friday, April 26th from 5 to 9 pm.

Paul has been doing linoleum block printing for over three years. He continues to grow with the idea of simple forgeround followed by layers of background to create colorful and interesting pieces. All prints are hand pressed using inks, acrylics, spray paints and water colors to add depth. Paul has shown at the Social Service League, The Percolator, SeedCo. Studios, Happy Shirt Co. and Wonderfair Gallery. We are happy to be the host of his first solo show! Below is a sampling of some of Paul's work that you will find at Essential Goods Friday night.

We are really looking forward to next Friday's festivities! Our next door neighbor, the Blue Dot Salon will be participating with us this month and we will have DJ on.it (Sean Foust) playing live for the event, so it will be a great evening! We would love to see you there!

Just in... new work from Lane Eisenbart

We are excited to add new work by local artist Lane Eisenbart to our collection at Essential Goods! We love the earrings and bracelets crafted out of upcycled bicycle chains (from the now retired Recyclery... sniff sniff). We also carry a variety of her flower hair clips, just in time for spring!, and perfect for both children and adults alike. We have many colorful pairs of earrings made out of recycled paper too! Check out more of her work below and here.
